About TasteMind
TasteMind is a free QR menu for bars and restaurants with a built-in drink sommelier. Guests scan a code, browse your menu, and — if they’re unsure what to order — answer a few quick questions to get matched to drinks from your own list. There’s no app to install, it works in six languages, and a venue can be live in about ten minutes.
Why TasteMind exists
Most guests can’t tell one wine or beer from another, so they default to the second-cheapest glass and hope. TasteMind helps them choose with confidence — and helps venues sell more of what they’re proud of — by turning the menu into a guide instead of a list.
A recommendation engine you can explain
TasteMind’s sommelier is deterministic, not an AI black box. Every drink gets a taste profile, a guest’s answers map onto the same scales, and the menu is ranked by closeness. Every suggestion comes with a plain-language reason, sold-out items are never recommended, and the recommendations always come from your menu — never a generic database.
What TasteMind includes
QR menus, no app
Guests scan and browse in the browser; it also installs as a web app and caches the last menu for weak Wi-Fi.
A drink sommelier
Three taste-matched recommendations from your menu, each with a match score and a reason.
Live availability
Mark something sold out and it greys out instantly on every phone; it’s never recommended.
Happy hour on autopilot
Schedule a window once; prices switch, a countdown appears, and was/now pricing shows automatically.
Six languages
Publish your menu and quiz in Danish, English, German, French, Spanish or Italian, auto-detected.
Guest analytics
Views, top items, the full quiz funnel and per-table breakdowns — built in.
Who it’s for
Wine bars, craft beer bars, cocktail bars and restaurants — any venue whose guests sometimes need help choosing what to drink. TasteMind is a menu, recommendation and analytics tool; it doesn’t process payments, so you take orders the way you do today.
