TasteMind

Analytics that tell you what your menu is missing

Every scan of your QR menu is a signal: what guests browse, what they skip, what they ask the quiz for and what they actually tap. TasteMind's built-in analytics turn that into a dashboard you can act on — including the one chart no till report gives you: the gap between what guests say they want and what your menu offers.

The taste gap

Guests tell the quiz what they're in the mood for — sweeter, lighter, more bitter. TasteMind plots those answers against the taste profiles of the drinks you actually stock, category by category, axis by axis. A wide gap is a buying signal: if guests keep asking for sweeter cocktails than you pour, you see it before your next order — not after a season of “nothing for me here.”

Where attention goes

Unique and returning visitors, menu views and QR scans over time, an hour-by-hour heatmap of when guests browse, top-viewed items and busiest sections — plus the two lists worth a manager's minute: hidden gems that quietly over-perform, and items never opened this period.

The quiz funnel, end to end

See every step: menu viewed, quiz started, completed, recommendation tapped — with the drop-off in between. Track average match quality, recommendation click-through, most-recommended drinks, recommendations that never get tapped, how guests answer each question, and their thumbs up or down on what they were shown.

Per table, per code, exportable

Use per-table QR codes and analytics break down by table; every QR code reports its own scans. Device and language splits show who your guests are, and any view exports to CSV in one click. No tracking scripts to add, no external analytics tool to wire up.

On the dashboard

  • No setup. Analytics are on from the first scan — nothing to install or configure.
  • The taste-gap chart. Guest demand vs your menu, per category and taste axis.
  • The full quiz funnel. Viewed, started, completed, tapped — with drop-off detection.
  • Hidden gems & cold spots. What quietly over-performs, and what never gets opened.
  • Per-table breakdowns. With table QR codes, see activity table by table.
  • Guest feedback. Thumbs up or down on every recommendation.
  • One-click CSV export. Take any of it with you.

From scans to decisions

  1. 1Print the QR codes. Per venue or per table — table codes unlock per-table analytics.
  2. 2Let service happen. Every scan, browse and quiz answer lands in the dashboard automatically.
  3. 3Read the gaps. Check the taste gap and the never-opened list before you write the next order.

Menu analytics FAQ

Do I need Google Analytics or tracking scripts?

No. Analytics are built into the menu itself and start with the first QR scan. One click exports CSV if you want the raw data somewhere else.

What exactly is the taste gap?

For each drink category, the quiz answers of your guests are averaged per taste axis and plotted against the average profile of the matching drinks on your menu. Wide gaps show demand you can't currently serve — useful input for the next order.

Can I see activity per table?

Yes — print per-table QR codes and views, quizzes and recommendations break down table by table.

Can I export the data?

Yes — one-click CSV export, so you can take the raw numbers into a spreadsheet or your own tooling.
